We really like the room and the breakfast. The front desk at night was not very friendly. We waited to check in for like 15 minutes but when she finally showed up, she complained that she had to do so many things all at once with no apology. The heated outdoor pool was really nice at night. The breakfast was reasonable. The morning front desk was very kind. I liked the pancakes!!! I will definitely stay here if go to Flagstaff again.

I stayed here for a business in June and was very satisfied with the accommodations. The room was very clean and everything worked. As for noise, the room itself was very quiet. However the famous train noise was still an issue. The person at the front desk informed me the city passed a noise ordnance against the trains, and they should not use them when passing though the city. I noted no noise on my first night, but was woken up at 4:30AM on the second. Apparently they can blow their horn if there is a obstacle or they are backing up. I just put in my ear plugs and was OK. Also want to mention the hotels free wireless internet worked great and they have a free continental breakfast with a make your own waffles. The staff kept everything filled and I have no complaints. :)

The hotel rooms were about what I expected...not bad for an older hotel...but when we returned from dinner there were about 30 people having a party in the hotel parking lot 20 feet from our room. This hoe down continued from about 9:30 to1:00am . I called the front desk when some drunk dude accidentally tried to open our door... but the girl was incompetent...she said that she would have the manager call us but he never did. She got mad at me because I was "complaining" too much. Thats what you get when I 17 year old is the only one working the front desk.... Trust me - I have never written a review before but this place stunk...I read all the reviews and it sounded okay, I really think they are made up. SKIP THE HO-JO with the HOE DOWN on unluckey lane!!! P.S....and the "buffet "was cereal and a mini bagel...we went to Dennys!!

Family traveling with two young children, looking for low-priced lodging for an overnight trip to Flagstaff to go sledding and play in the snow. While the room was fairly small, it suited our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable, room was small but clean and included a fridge. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good-with a belgian waffle making machine! However there were very few tables, so you had to hit it at the right time in order to have a place to sit and not wait in line for food. Within walking distance to Cracker Barrel and other restaurants. Perfect for a short stay; I'd have opted for something bigger for an extended stay.
